Hey friends and fellow pet parents!

 We are lucky to be surrounded by so many great outdoor patio options in the Dayton, Ohio area, but I wanted to highlight a few of our favorite hangout spots that are locally owned, unique, and most importantly, safe and entertaining for my best friend 🐕

First stop: Eudora Brewery in Kettering, Ohio.

This spot is known for its constantly rotating selection of craft beers. Their spacious patio is the perfect place to chill with your pup, have some lunch and people watch. It’s also a great place to enjoy a cold one after a long day around one of the fire pits!   Reviewers rave about the friendly staff; offering water bowls and ear scratches to pup patrons!

Feeling like some wings with your brew? Then head over to our next recommended patio at:

Warped Wing Brewery in Springboro, Mason, and Huber Heights.

This place is a local favorite, and their outdoor patio is no exception. With plenty of room for your four-legged pal to roam (while leashed of course!), it’s a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy some delicious pub fare. Online buzz says the wings are a must-try, and the portions are perfect for sharing (with your human friends, not your dog 😉). Not all of their locations have a patio, so be sure to check out the ones listed above if you’re looking to relax outside!

Craving some upscale pub grub with your pup? Look no further than our next spot,

Monkey Bar & Grille in Maineville, Ohio.

This one has the biggest patio of all of the recommendations you’ll find in this post! Think comfy seating, shade umbrellas on those hot days, and plenty of water bowls to keep your pup hydrated.  

Nestled right on top of the Great Miami River, it’s the most relaxing place to grab an item from the gastropub menu that is packed with unique takes on classic dishes. This is one of my FAVORITE spots to take Nova. It is absolutely worth the drive!

And finally, for the outdoor enthusiasts with pups, our last recommendation for you to check out this summer is

Southern Ohio Brewing in Beavercreek, Ohio.

This spot is right along on the bike path and known for its constantly rotating selection of craft beers, and it also features a great outdoor space with weekly live bands in the summer! Go for a shaded stroll on the bike bath, grab a bite from the local food truck out front and relax with some live music. We think you’ll love it!
