Hola friends! Let’s talk about the two main things I go over with my buyers before we start house hunting. On average I spend about 3-6 months with my clients actively looking at homes and it’s really important for me to get the full picture of what you’re looking for. 

The first is simple– what do you need in a home?

This is typically a checklist where you tell me the number of bedrooms and bathrooms you need, how close or far you need to be from work, activities or schools etc., and other requirements like if you need a 3-car garage and a yard for your pets. This might also include what you want your home to look like too; if you have an exterior or style preference (brick vs siding or a cape cod vs ranch) these are all details I want to know! 

The second is a little more abstract but it’s just as important and that’s what you want your home to FEEL like?

Maybe you’ve been in the suburbs for a while and you’re ready for a little more peace and privacy. Coffee on the front porch anyone? Or maybe it’s the way hardwood floors remind you of your childhood home or the way natural light helps you feel calm and centered throughout the day.

Whatever that feeling is that you’re looking for, I want to help you find it.
